Nestor Barbitta graduated as an Image and Sound designer from the University of Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n
He has developed a career as photojournalist and as a teacher in workshops, learning institutions and social projects. He was responsible for the development of audiovisual content for different government organisations.<\/p>\n
Nestor has been a member of ARGA (Photojournalist Association of Argentina) since 2012 and his photos have been published in the national and international media.<\/p>\n
He attended the photographic aesthetic workshop lead<\/a> by the photographer Eduardo Gil.<\/p>\n In 2016 one of his photographs was part of the exhibition \u201cFrom North to South\u201d at CCEA (Spanish Cultural Center in Buenos Aires). In the same year, another part of his artistic work was shown in the exhibition \u201c50\/50 Buenos Aires\u201d at the San Martin Cultural Center.<\/p>\n Some of Nestor\u2019s pictures were exhibited at the Igers Gallery, of the Telefonica Foundation in Madrid.<\/a><\/p>\n At the end of 2017 some of his images made with a drone were part of the video installation \u201cApollo and Dionysus in Argentinian architecture\u201d, a comprehensive exhibition about the work of the famous Argentinian architects Mario Roberto Alvarez and Clorindo Testa at the Museum of Architecture and Design of Argentina.<\/p>\n In 2018 and 2019 Nestor was one of the finalists of the prestigious award Ita\u00fa Visual Art, in both cases with drone photography.<\/p>\n Until the beginning of 2019, before he moved to Berlin, Nestor attended the “Strategies in the search of a personal language”<\/a> with the world renown photographer Carlos Bosch.<\/p>\n The Embassy of Argentina in Berlin organised a solo exhibition of Nestor\u2019s work \u201cCoordinates of every day life\u201d<\/a> from May until July 2019 in the Borges room of that In November 2019 some of his photos were part of the book of the CCK (Centro Cultural Kirchner) of Argentina.<\/p>\n His aerial photograph of the Chacarita Cemetery was exhibited as part of the “Modern Chacarita” project at the Buenos Aires International Architecture Biennial in October 2019.<\/p>\n His video performance “We, the places”<\/a>, was part of the urban intervention project “This is an intervention”<\/a> in the emblematic Kreuzberg district of Berlin in July 2020.<\/p>\n With his aerial photograph “Partido”, he became the winner of the 3rd acquisition prize of the Ita\u00fa Visual Arts Awards, in its 2019-2020 edition.<\/p>\n He is a professional drone pilot and a visual artist who is always interested in new technologies and new formats.\u00a0<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”0px|0px|0px|0px|true|true”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default”][et_pb_image src=”https:\/\/nestorbarbitta.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/nestorbarbitta-photoautomat-cv.jpg” alt=”Photoautomat Berlin” title_text=”Photoautomat Berlin” force_fullwidth=”on” _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” width_last_edited=”off|desktop” max_width_tablet=”” max_width_phone=”” max_width_last_edited=”on|phone” module_alignment=”center” custom_padding=”0px|0px|0px|0px|true|true” module_alignment_phone=”center” module_alignment_last_edited=”off|desktop”][\/et_pb_image][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Nestor Barbitta graduated as an Image and Sound designer from the University of Buenos Aires.
